Angela, Candace and I tried our hands at JAZZERCISE yesterday evening. We had so much fun dancing around. It was such a blast and will HIGHLY recommend it to anyone interested! It was an hour long movement of cardio, light weights and yoga tuned to todays modern pop music. It really brought me back to the fond memories of my good'ol cheer days. Its a great way to get that bikini body just in time for summer (or at least that's what I'm telling myself:))

Chunk-a-bella is growing waaay too fast. This past weekend, she and I went to Kroger's for groceries but there was something different. Typically she sits in her car seat and then we put her car seat in the shopping basket. But now that she's a big girl and sits up on her own, she sat in the shopping cart by herself and never leaned down to chew on the nasty handle bar. I know it sounds small, but this was a huge feat that she conquered, we conquered together... so of course I had to buy her the biggest balloon in the store.

Sweet Caroline! There was a joyous celebration the day you were born on the still of the night 9 years ago today. You were the first grandbaby for both the Villarreal and Quick Families so everyone gathered in the waiting room awaiting your debut. I remember the day your parents brought you home from the hospital. We danced and sang to Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" while you entered the house. Now you are 9 years old and have bloomed into a beautiful young lady who is polite and extremely intelligent. You are the best niece EVER!!!

Happy New Year!
I hope the new year finds yourself well. The holidays came and went so fast this year.(Tear). We had the week off so we really took advantage of it and hung out with our families, went to the movies, bought a new car, nick sold a mustang he refurbished, had a little r&r, tried out new recipes, explored a new piano bar and hung out with friends for New Years Eve.
This was Isabella's first Christmas and she was spoiled with presents galore. We even have up-opened toys waiting in the garage for her to play with. It was so nice for the family to meet her and get to know her over the holidays. I can't believe it...Isabella's almost 7 months now... and is growing so fast. She's super tall (97%) for her age group. If there were a pill to slow down the aging process in babies, I would want that pill. She was introduced to meats this month as well as the cute cereal puffs. She loves to feed herself the puff cereal, although majority of them end up on the floor or glued to her hands. Her independence is really showing through (and only beginning). This month, Isabella has found her tongue "Lengua". If she's awake, her tongue is out in full force. Its hilarious! I must take a picture to capture her in action.
The first yoga work out this year was tuff, but I think I'm going to stick with it. Yoga is light enough on my body and so far I like the results. Don't laugh, but I'm doing the Wii Fit Yoga and you'd be surprised how quickly you begin to work up a sweat.
